Chinese Dragon Among Lanterns and Cherry Blossoms

A long-bodied, friendly Chinese dragon with big round eyes and a smile winds across the sky in this detailed page. Rows of scales cover its body, and it has a flowing mane, curling whiskers, small horns, clawed feet, and a feathery tail that sweeps toward the bottom. Four round paper lanterns with tassels float nearby, along with swirly clouds and two pagoda-style buildings tucked among the clouds and hills. Cherry blossom branches fill the corners and edges. Lots of small spaces in the scales and clouds make this one a better fit for older kids who like patient, fine-detail coloring. Jade green and gold look great on the dragon, red and orange on the lanterns, and soft pink on the blossoms. It's a free printable that works for Lunar New Year or any quiet afternoon.
