Yule Log Cake with a Snowman and Holly for Christmas
Coloring guide
A festive bûche de Noël rests on a round serving plate, with a spiral sponge swirl on the cut end and wavy bark lines along the log. On top stands a smiling snowman in a tall top hat, a striped scarf and a carrot nose, with two round buttons down his front. Pointed holly leaves and berry clusters surround him, and more holly with berries sits at the base. Pine sprigs fan out on both sides of the plate. Bold outlines and a mix of big and small areas work well for kids who like detail but still want clear spaces to fill. Chocolate brown for the log with lighter tan in the spiral center is a good start, then red berries and a bright striped scarf so the snowman stands out. This free printable is a calm holiday activity for home or class. Love this Cake coloring page? You might also enjoy our For Girls and For Kids coloring pages.

- 3Color the holly leaves in leafy green, then fill the round berries in bright red, leaving small white shine spots on each berry.
- 4Color the top hat and the eyes in charcoal black, and color the hat band in bright red.
- 5Add the scarf with crimson red, bright red and olive green stripes, then color the carrot nose orange.
- 6Optional: Add a little darker brown shading along the bottom of the log and the plate edge to make the cake look rounder.
