All 26 letters of the alphabet are drawn in a rounded, chunky bubble style, lined up in rows from A to Z in lowercase-looking and uppercase shapes. Each letter has a thick outline with soft corners and a small curved shine mark near the top edge, like a glossy balloon. Some letters, such as a, B, D, e, O, P, Q and R, have little round holes inside them, while letters like H, M, N, U and W have rounded gaps between their stems. The inside of every letter is blank and ready for color. Try giving each letter its own color and then sorting the page by vowels and consonants, or let kids color their own initials first. It also works well as a free printable for letter recognition practice, since children can name each letter as they fill it in.
