Chunky Cannon on a Curved Plated Base

A chunky cannon sits on a curved, plated base, with its round barrel tilted so the muzzle faces toward the lower right. The muzzle is drawn as rings around an oval opening. The back end of the barrel is lumpy and rounded, and a wide band wraps around the middle. Under the barrel, the curved base is split into several stone-like segments. Two flat, angled legs stretch out at the bottom, and small pointed pieces stick out from each side. Big open areas on the barrel are great for practicing smooth shading with gray, black, or bronze crayons. For a fun twist, ask kids to color each base segment a slightly different shade so the plates look separate. You can print it free and use it as a calm activity after playing the game.
