Close-Up of a Ninjago Ninja Face in Hood and Mask

Coloring guide
Here's a close-up of a LEGO Ninjago ninja's face, with no body and no background. The hood has a pointed diamond shape on the forehead, and a wrapped mask covers the nose and mouth. Only the eyes show, drawn as two round black dots under thick, slanted eyebrows that look fierce and determined. Soft stitched fold lines mark the hood, and the curved wraps on the mask are nice to shade. The Ninjago logo sits in one top corner and the Airjitzu emblem in the other. It's a quick free printable, great for younger kids who want one big, simple shape to fill in. Deep green, red or blue works for the hood, with a lighter shade on the mask so the eyes stand out. Fans of Ninjago coloring pages often like Shimmer and Shine and Winnie the Pooh as well.
A gentle color plan to get started — mix in your own anytime.
- bright red
- dark red
- golden yellow
- lemon yellow
A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Start with the big red areas: color the hood, forehead, and sides of the face in bright red, leaving the eye whites and background empty.
- 2Fill the two gold crests on top of the hood with golden yellow, using gentle strokes that follow the shape.
- 3Color the band around the eyes and the strip between the eyebrows with lemon yellow, keeping the large eye whites white.
- 4Add the dark red parts of the mask on the cheeks and under the nose, pressing a little harder for a deeper tone.
- 5Finish the lower mask edge and the thin red lines near the mask seams in bright red, leaving the eye whites and background white.
- 6Optional: add a few darker strokes of dark red along the edges of the mask to give it a bit of depth.
