Close Up Portrait of a Spiky Haired Anime Guy

A young man's face fills the page, tilted slightly with his head lowered and a small half smile showing a hint of teeth. His hair is drawn as long, sharp, layered strands that fall across his forehead and spike out at the sides. The narrow eyes have heavy outlines and solid black pupils. A thin line runs from the forehead down across one eye and along the cheek, and there is a small dark mole near the chin. His bare neck, collarbones and shoulders are sketched in simple lines at the bottom. The background is empty, so there is plenty of room to experiment. Try soft peach and warm brown shading on the skin, then use two or three tones in the hair to show the separate spikes. This free printable suits older kids who like detailed anime faces.
