A cheerful clown with curly hair, a small bowler hat topped with a flower, and a big round nose blows into a long balloon. Little lines near the balloon show the air going in. A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Start with the big background areas: color the grass and both bushes in grass green, leaving the grass tufts and patches white or lightly touched.
- 2Fill the clown's hair and shirt: use orange for the curly hair, and golden yellow for the shirt, hat, buttons and shoes soles.
- 3Color the skin areas in peach skin, including the forehead, cheek, hands and fingers, and the ear.
- 4Paint the big red pants and tomato red shoes, then add light blue polka dots across the pants, and fill the blue suspender and bright blue bow tie dots.
- 5Color the long balloon in bright blue and the mouthpiece in slate gray, then fill the two balloon dogs in light blue and violet purple.
- 6Finish with the details: tomato red nose and bow tie, the hat band in bright blue, and the flower in golden yellow with white petals. Leave the teeth, eye shines and white shoe laces white. Optional: add a little darker shading along the edges of the hair and pants.
