A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Start with the skin areas: color the faces, hands, arms and legs of the three friends with skin peach, leaving the puppy's spotted costume and paws white.
- 2Fill the lettering TRICK, TREAT and the exclamation mark with pumpkin orange, and color the candy bucket rims and the jack-o-lantern faces on all three buckets pumpkin orange too.
- 3Color the pirate hat charcoal gray, the pirate's eye patch charcoal gray, and the puppy's ears and eye area near black, keeping the eye whites and shine spots white.
- 4Add denim blue to the pirate's overalls, chocolate brown to his shoes and belt, and rose pink to the fairy's dress, with hot pink for her shoes.
- 5Finish the fairy's golden yellow hair and tiara, lavender and pale pink wings, and the orchid purple sash and the letter o. Leave the wand shaft and the white stripes on the pirate's shirt untouched.
- 6Optional: add a few light shading lines in a slightly darker tone along the edges of the hat and dress for a little depth.
