Color by Number Butterfly Sitting on a Daisy
Coloring guide
This color by number page shows a happy butterfly with big sparkly eyes and a little smile, resting on top of a large daisy-style flower. Every section carries a small number from 1 to 4. The upper wings have curved stripes numbered 1 through 4, the lower wings repeat that pattern, and the striped body segments go 1 to 4 down the middle. Both antennae end in round tips labeled 1. On the flower, the dotted center is 1, the six rounded petals are 2, and the two leaves on the stem are 3. Since there are just four numbers, it's a gentle pick for preschoolers and early learners working on number recognition. You could go yellow for every 1, pink for 2, purple for 3 and light blue for 4, which gives the wings and body a bright, balanced look. The free PDF is ready to print at home for class time or a rainy day. This fits right in with our Color by Number coloring pages — see also Calendar and Words.

- 3Color the lower wings: sky blue in the main bands, magenta pink on the outer edges, and lime green on the smaller bands near the body.
- 4Paint the head, antenna balls, and body segments one and three butter yellow, then color segments two and four tangerine orange.
