Convertible Cruising with Garfield in a Classic Sports Car
Coloring guide
Garfield the cat cruises along in a vintage convertible sports car, leaning back in the driver's seat with a relaxed, satisfied smirk. He has on oversized rectangular sunglasses, and his big striped head and tufted ears rise above the curved windshield. The car has a long rounded hood, an oval grille, round headlights, curved side trim and whitewall-style tires with spoked hubs, so there's a lot to color. A soft shadow sits under the car and the background is blank. Bold, clean outlines and large open areas work well for crayons or markers, and kids who love cars and cartoon cats will have fun with it. Give Garfield classic orange with dark stripes, then try a glossy cherry red car and blue-tinted sunglasses. Keep this free page handy to print with no sign-up. - 2Fill Garfield's face, ears, arm, and body with bright orange, then add pale yellow on his cheeks and chin.
- 3Color the windshield and its edge with sky blue, and the tires with dark gray; shade the wheel rims and hubs with slate blue.
- 4Fill the sunglasses with near black and leave small white shine spots on the lenses.
- 5Color the seat, steering wheel, and dashboard trim with chocolate brown, warm amber, and warm taupe, and add the soft pink nose and white teeth last.
- 6Optional: add a few darker strokes of cherry red or chocolate brown along the car edges and Garfield's fur for depth.
