Convertible Rolling onto a Lego City Ferry
Coloring guide
A Lego City ferry is the main attraction, and a small convertible is just rolling up its front ramp. The driver is a minifigure with long hair sitting behind the wheel, and the car has a license plate on the front bumper. High up in the square wheelhouse, a ferry captain in a peaked cap leans out holding a mug, with a mast and antenna on the roof above. A steep ladder-style staircase goes down to the deck, where you'll find a cabin with windows, round life-ring details and a stack of studded Lego pieces. BD60119 is printed along the side of the hull. A bold red or blue hull would look good, and a bright yellow or green car will stand out against it. A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Start with the big blue areas: fill the lower hull, the front hull panels and the tower sides with royal blue, leaving the windows white.
- 2Color the red parts next: the car body, the roof of the tower and the red sections along the lower hull with red.
- 3Fill the gray areas with light gray for the seats and cargo, and charcoal gray for the dark ramp at the front and the tire edges.
- 4Add bright blue to the middle panels and railings on the deck, and use golden yellow for the railing posts, the bucket and the base of the tower.
- 5Finish with the small details: navy blue for the officer's uniform, pale blue for the logos at the top, and leave the windows, the officer's face and shirt white.
- 6Optional: Add a little darker shading under the car and along the ramp to make the ferry look more solid.
