Cow Standing by a Barn Dot to Dot

A cow stands in a grassy field and looks back toward us, with a red-roofed style barn and a tall silo sitting on the hill behind her. Most of her body is only an outline until the dots are joined. The numbered dots run from 1 to 31 and trace her face, ear, front leg, belly, back legs, hooves and the long tail with its tufted tip. Bushes, trees and tufts of grass fill in the scenery. Kids can count in order to finish the cow, then color her any way they like. Try brown patches on a tan coat, a pink nose, green fields and a barn in a bold color. It is good number practice for early learners, and the printable page also works well as a quiet farm unit activity.
