Cozy Cottage HOME Words Coloring Page

Coloring guide
This little cottage has a scalloped shingle roof, a brick chimney puffing a curly cloud of smoke, and a round window with a cross pattern set high in the gable. An arched wooden door with a round knob sits at the top of two front steps, and two square windows on either side have flower boxes full of blooms. A winding stepping-stone path leads through the grass to the door, with fluffy bushes, a small picket fence on each side and daisy-like flowers all around. Across the bottom, the bubble letters spelling HOME are big and easy to color. It's a free printable that fits a family art afternoon well. Warm red or terracotta suits the chimney bricks and roof scallops, with leafy greens for the bushes and bright yellows and pinks for the flowers. Love this Words coloring page? - 2Fill the roof tiles, both roof edges and the chimney bricks with tomato red, keeping the chimney top stone gray.
- 3Color the front door and its panels warm brown, then use tangerine orange for the door frame and the small bricks on the walls.
- 4Paint the bushes, trees and lawn grass with grass green and light green, the fences with light tan, the path stones and step with stone gray, and the HOME letters and window frames with golden yellow, leaving the middle of the letter O light green.
- 5Finish with sky blue in the window glass and round window panes, coral pink in the flower centers, and leave the bottom right flowers white.
- 6Optional: Add a little darker brown to the door shadows or grass edges for depth.
