Crawl Low Like the Turtle, Fire Safety Fun

A smiling child in a baseball cap and collared shirt crawls on hands and knees with a tongue sticking out, and a big turtle with a swirly ear and a number 1 on its shell is right beside them. The turtle's shell has curved lines across it, and its head is down low near the bottom of the frame. Behind them are a long horizontal line like a wall or ledge and puffy clouds in the sky. The caption at the bottom reads, Stay low to the floor when escaping a fire. This printable is a handy starting point for a fire safety talk at home or in class. Have kids practice crawling low like the child in the picture, then color the cap, shirt, and numbered shell in bright, easy-to-spot colors while repeating the safety rule.
