Crystal Dragon Flashwing From Skylanders
Coloring guide
Flashwing is the crystal dragon of Skylanders, and she's front and center with her feathered wings lifted high and long crystal shards fanning out behind her. She wears a big open-mouthed smile, a gem in the middle of her forehead and small crystal spikes along her head. Her chest has a banded belly and a round tummy marking with a zigzag pattern, and her curling tail ends in a crystal. Even her clawed feet have crystal-like detail. Her name is in bold bubble letters at the bottom, handy for early readers. No background, so kids can concentrate on the dragon. Purple or teal crystals with soft pink or lilac feathers would be lovely. Grab it as a free PDF and print a few extra copies. A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Start with the large crystal wings and tail tip: fill the wing crystals with light cyan and sky blue, and leave the sparkly edges white.
- 2Color the head, body, arms and tail in red, and add pale yellow to the chest and belly bands.
- 3Fill the wing frills, arm feathers and head spikes with golden yellow, keeping the feather tips white.
- 4Add royal blue and bright blue to the belly gem and the crystal bases, and use aqua for the crystal spikes on the legs.
- 5Color the tongue pink and the snout orange, and keep the eye whites and teeth white.
- 6Optional: add a little royal blue along the shaded side of the wing crystals for depth.
