Cupcakes Flying Out From a Center Star

Six cupcakes burst outward from a small star in the middle of the page, each one tilted at a different angle as if it is spinning through space. Every cupcake has a wavy scalloped frosting top, a small round cherry-like ball on one side, and a wrapper with straight sides. Long curved lines stretch from the center toward the edges, giving the page a swirling, whooshing feel. Little five-point stars are scattered in the gaps, and a few sit right on the curved lines. The cupcakes range from large to small, so younger kids can start with the big ones and save the tiny ones for later. Try coloring each cupcake in a different frosting flavor, like pink strawberry, brown chocolate, or yellow vanilla, then fill the stars with bright yellow. This printable page is a fun way to practice staying inside curvy lines.
