Little Monkey Tiptoeing Along a Log Above a Pond
Coloring guide
A smiling little monkey with a long curly tail creeps across a fallen log, leaning forward with both hands reaching toward the edge as if peering at the water below. Right underneath, two fish leap from the pond with little splashes, and round lily pads and lotus flowers float on the ripples. The pond is ringed with large leafy plants, smooth rocks, hanging vines, a monstera leaf and palm trees, with puffy tree shapes in the background. There's plenty to color, from big simple shapes like the log and lily pads to finer leaf details for older kids. Golden-brown fur for the monkey, orange or silvery-blue fish, and pink water lily petals will stand out against the greens. Print or download it free for a calm, creative moment. Looking for more? - 3Fill the fallen log and its ends with light brown, adding dark wood brown for the darker shadows underneath.
- 4Color the pond water in sky blue, leaving small white gaps for ripples and the fish splashes.
- 5Fill the lily pads and leaves with bright green and leaf green, and color the rocks in light gray.
- 6Optional: Add a little light green and emerald green to the leaves, and leave the sky and tiny highlights white.
