Curled Baby Dragon with Swirly Clouds and Stars, Hard / Detailed Printable
Coloring guide
In the middle of this page, a smiling baby dragon with big round eyes curls into a circle, with its chin resting near its tail. It has two curved horns, leafy frills on its head, small pointed ears and clawed feet tucked in close. Rows of tiny overlapping scales cover the back and tail, and the belly has banded stripes. Spiky leaf-shaped fins run along the spine, and the tail ends in a leafy tip. Swirly clouds fill the background, along with small outlined stars. The scales and cloud curls make it a good fit for older kids or patient colorers who like fine detail. A mix of teal and soft green on the scales works well, with warm yellow stars and pale lavender clouds. Save it as a free PDF, no sign-up needed. - 2Color the dragon's main body scales with lime green, then use bright green on the scales that sit in the middle and around the curl.
- 3Add forest green to the darker scales, the leaf-like fins along the back, and the tail tip shading.
- 4Fill the belly stripe, the underside of the body and the claws with soft yellow, and paint the horns with golden yellow.
- 5Color the large wing near the head with tangerine orange and the small tail fin with butter yellow.
- 6Optional: Add a little darker blue along the bottom edges of the clouds, and keep the eye whites, teeth and white belly patch bright white.
