Sandcastle Day at the Beach With an Oddbods Character
Coloring guide
Sitting on the sand under a big striped beach umbrella, a cheerful round-headed character with a swirly curl of hair digs happily with a small shovel. The sandcastle has three towers, an arched doorway and a little flag on top, and a bucket filled with sand sits beside it. Behind them, waves roll up the shore and a sailboat floats near the horizon. In the foreground, a smiling starfish, a scallop shell and a spiral seashell rest on the dotted sand. Big, open shapes work for younger kids, and the sand dots give older ones something to focus on. Rainbow stripes would look great on the umbrella, and warm golden-tan shades suit the castle. Free to print. Love this Oddbods coloring page? - 3Color the sandcastle and the sand in the bucket light sand yellow, then add the castle door in golden yellow.
- 4Color the bucket and its rims grass green, and the shovel ocean blue.
- 5Color the umbrella panels with cherry red and cream white stripes, the pole warm brown, and the boat sails cherry red and soft pink.
- 6Finish with sunny yellow hair curls, tangerine orange starfish, and lavender purple and soft pink shells; optional: add a little darker shading on the shadowed sides for depth.
