Curly-Tail Pony Standing, Cutie Mark Crew (MLP)
Coloring guide
Front and center stands a little pony with a big round head and sparkly, wide-set eyes, smiling softly with a tiny open mouth. Swoopy bangs curl across her forehead, and a rounded tuft of mane rises between her two pointed ears. A puffy ponytail bulges out behind her cheek and ends in a thin, curling wisp near the bottom. Her body is small and simple, with a short neck and chunky legs, leaving big open spaces for little hands. With no background, it stays easy for younger kids. Bright pink or lavender on the mane and tail, plus a soft pastel body, lets the eyelashes and shiny eye highlights stand out. Print a few copies, since there's plenty of room to color more than once. - pale pink
- rose pink
A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Start with the big round face, the body and the right ear, filling them with soft pink and leaving the eye shines white.
- 2Color the left ear with pale pink so it stands out a little from the face.
- 3Fill the top hair puff, the front mane, the back mane curl, the ponytail curl, the tail tip and the front hoof with lavender purple.
- 4Color the open mouth with rose pink, keeping the small white shine spots inside the mouth if you like.
- 5Leave the eye highlights white, and fill the rest of the eyes with a dark tone to make them pop.
- 6Optional: Add a second layer of soft pink in the shadowed areas under the chin and body for a little depth.
