Cute Baby Chick Looking Down With Big Eye

A round-headed baby chick stands on two thin legs with its head tipped down and turned to the side. The chick has one large glossy eye with three little eyelashes, a small pointed beak, and a tiny curved mark above the eye. A few short feather strokes sit on top of the head. The body is plump, with a rounded wing outlined on the side and a spiky tail poking up at the back. Short lines on the chest suggest fluffy feathers, and each foot has several long toes. The shapes are big and the lines are bold, so it works well for younger kids who are still building control with crayons. Try yellow or orange for the fluffy body, then use a different shade inside the wing so the round shape stands out. This free printable also makes a nice spring or farm unit activity.
