This happy baby dragon sits up straight with big sparkling eyes and an open-mouthed grin. It has two curved, striped horns, a small pointed spike on its forehead, and leafy fins on each side of its head. Little wings are spread out behind it. A segmented belly with curved lines runs down the front, and each chubby foot has three round toes. The curled tail ends in a point, and small spikes line its back. Five outlined stars float around it on a plain white background. Big shapes and bold lines make this free printable easy for little hands. A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Start with the big green areas: color the head, body, legs, arms and tail in grass green, leaving the eye whites and the bright shine spots white.
- 2Fill the belly, chest and the toes in pale yellow, keeping the toe lines and belly bands as outlines.
- 3Color the wings, the stars and the horns in golden yellow, following each wing's sections.
- 4Add orange to the ear fins, the head spike, the small spikes on the back and the tail fins, then fill the tongue in rose pink.
- 5Optional: add a few lighter scribbles of pale yellow on the green areas to create a soft, sketchy texture.
