A smiling baby elephant looks straight out from the middle of a round mandala frame, with big sparkly eyes, long lashes, two small tusks and a curled trunk tip. A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Start with the big elephant head and ears in light gray, leaving the tusks white.
- 2Fill the outer ring and the large background circle with butter yellow and soft yellow for a warm glow.
- 3Color the big flowers at the top and bottom with coral pink and sky blue, and the side flowers in orange.
- 4Add turquoise and mint green to the paisley swirls on the ears and the leaves around the edges.
- 5Finish the trunk with olive green and khaki brown bands, then add small details like the trunk tip and the head ornament in pale sky blue. Optional: add a touch of darker gray along one side of the head for shading.
