Hedgehog with an Apple, Color by Number (Adult) Printable
Coloring guide
The heart of this page is a smiling hedgehog strolling through the grass with a big apple balanced on its spiky back. The apple has a curved stem and a single leaf on top. Two spotted mushrooms stand behind the hedgehog, a third small one sits in the lower right corner, and tufts of grass fill the background. Three veined leaves rest on the ground near the bottom. The hedgehog itself has round ears, a shiny black nose, one big friendly eye and little paws, and its jagged fur gives lots of small areas to fill in. Browns and tan work for the fur, while the apple can be bright red or green. Red or orange caps will make the mushroom spots stand out. A free printable for a calm afternoon at home or in class. - 2Color the apple, both mushroom caps, and the two red leaves at the bottom with bright red, keeping the round spots white.
- 3Paint the mushroom stems and the bottom right mushroom stem with cream, and color the hedgehog's legs and paws with peach.
- 4Add the apple leaf and the small leaf behind the hedgehog's ear and the leaf by the left mushroom in leaf green and olive green, and the apple stem in caramel brown.
- 5Color the bottom center leaf with orange and the bottom left leaf with golden yellow.
- 6Optional: Add a little darker shading on the hedgehog's body and mushroom stems, and leave the eye whites white for a sparkly look.
