Happy Ladybug on a Leaf, Color by Number (Adult) Page
Coloring guide
Perched on a big veined leaf, this cheerful ladybug looks straight out at you with wide sparkly eyes and an open smile. Large circle spots cover its rounded shell, and the two antennae finish in small round tips. A five-petal flower with a leaf rises behind it on the left, and a second little flower blooms in the bottom right corner. You'll spot three raindrops too: one at the top, one on the leaf and one near the bottom. Thick, clean outlines and roomy shapes make this a good pick for younger kids and beginners, and it's a free printable for quiet time at home or school. Red with black spots looks great on the shell, with soft greens for the leaf and pale blue for the drops. Looking for more? - 2Color the ladybug's wings in bright red, leaving the large black spots for later.
- 3Fill the head in pale beige, keeping the eye whites and the little shine spots in the eyes white, then color the smiling mouth soft pink.
- 4Color the flower petals golden yellow and the flower centers warm orange, and paint the antenna tips bright red.
- 5Use charcoal black for all the spots, the legs and the eye pupils, and dark gray for the feet.
- 6Fill the water drops in sky blue, leaving the small shine on each drop white. Optional: add a slightly darker shade along the edges of the leaf for depth.
