Sprinkle Cupcake with a Tiny Heart in Its Smile

A round, dome-shaped cupcake sits in a pleated paper liner, with a big smiling face right on the frosting. The face has two tall oval eyes and a small half-circle mouth with a tiny heart inside. The frosting has a scalloped, wavy edge along the bottom and puffy bumps on both sides. Lots of little sprinkles in different curvy and straight shapes are scattered across the top, and a few sit near the mouth and cheeks. The liner has simple fold lines running down its sides. The shapes are big and the lines are clean, so it works well for younger kids with chunky crayons. Try coloring each sprinkle a different bright color and the frosting a soft pastel, then talk about which flavor your cupcake might be. This free page is easy to print for a quiet afternoon activity.
