Cute Lamb with Bow and Butterfly for Easter

Coloring guide
Big sparkly eyes, floppy ears and a curly woolly coat give this smiling little lamb lots of personality as it stands in a grassy meadow. A large ribbon bow sits around its neck, and a cheerful butterfly with a smiling face flutters just above its shoulder. Daisy-style flowers with long leaves bloom on both sides, a third flower is tucked in the bottom corner, and little tufts of grass sit at the hooves. The bumpy, cloud-like wool is great for practicing small curvy strokes, and the big flower petals are easy for younger hands. Soft pastel pink works nicely for the bow and the insides of the ears, with bright yellow and purple for the flowers and butterfly wings. Print a few copies of this free page so everyone gets one. A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Color the lamb's wool body, head, neck, and fluffy tail with warm cream, leaving the eye shines and eye highlights white.
- 2Paint the bow in bright red, including both loops, the long tails, and the small knot in the middle.
- 3Fill the hooves and the lower ends of the legs with dark brown, and color the nose soft pink.
- 4Color the butterfly's top wings and inner wing parts with soft pink and purple, add sunny yellow spots, and paint its body stripe orange.
- 5Add the flowers: sky blue petals with sunny yellow centers on the left, soft pink petals on the right, and purple petals at the bottom, then color the leaves and grass in leaf green.
- 6Optional: add a little extra pressure along the edges of the wool and the bow to give them a softer, shaded look.
