Cute Leaping Dolphin With Curved Body Outline

A single dolphin arches through the air in a big curved shape, with its rounded head at the top right and its tail flukes at the bottom left. The face is simple and friendly, with one small oval eye, a smooth forehead, a short rounded snout, and a gentle curved smile line. A tall dorsal fin sits on its back, and two flippers hang down near the chin. A long, narrow belly stripe follows the curve of the body down to the tail. The background is plain white, so there is nothing to color except the dolphin itself. The lines are thick and the shapes are large, which suits younger kids and beginners. Try coloring the back a deeper blue and leaving the belly stripe a lighter shade, then talk about how dolphins are darker on top and paler underneath. This printable page also works well for a short ocean animals lesson.
