A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Color the pony's body, face, legs and ears with peach orange, leaving the eye whites and the small shine spots white.
- 2Fill the mane, tail and forelock with chestnut brown, then add the hooves in the same brown.
- 3Paint the canvas sky in sky blue, the sun in golden yellow, and the hills and bushes in grass green and deep green, leaving the background white.
- 4Color the easel wood in caramel brown, then fill the paint jars: golden yellow for the big jar and its lid, bright blue for the right jar, and cherry red for the front jar and brush tip.
- 5Optional: Add a little darker shading to the mane and tail with chestnut brown, and a touch of golden yellow on the sun's rays for extra glow.
