Coloring guide

Hanging upside down from a leafy branch and gripping it with both tiny hands, this little bat grins right at you with two small fangs showing. Big round eyes, a little snout and fluffy fur around the neck keep it friendly instead of spooky. The wings spread out to each side with simple curved ribs, and two large pointed ears droop down beside the face. A few leaves sit at both ends of the branch, and they're easy for small hands to fill in. With large shapes and bold lines, it's good for preschoolers and early elementary kids still practicing staying inside the lines. Soft purple or gray for the body, deeper violet on the wings and fresh green leaves would look lovely on this free printable. A pink nose makes a sweet finishing touch.
