Say Hi to the Friendly Vampire Boy

Coloring guide
This little vampire boy stands front and center with one hand raised in a cheerful wave. He has big round eyes, pointed ears, tousled hair with a widow's peak, and two tiny fangs in his open grin. He wears a tall-collared cape with a scalloped bottom edge, a buttoned vest, a bow tie with a round brooch, long sleeves, trousers and chunky shoes. There's no background, so he's easy to spot, and the bold, clean lines work well for small hands and chunky crayons. He's a fun, not-too-spooky pick for a Halloween party table or a classroom. A deep purple or classic red cape looks good, and bright gold on the round brooch makes it stand out at his collar. It's a free printable that's quick to print at home and ready in minutes. A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Start by coloring the face, ears, neck and waving hand with peach, leaving the eye whites and the white shirt parts untouched.
- 2Fill the hair with chestnut brown, then color the big red cape, including the collar and the part behind the legs, with cherry red.
- 3Color the suit jacket, vest, trousers and sleeves with charcoal gray, keeping the white shirt front and cuffs white.
- 4Add the shoes in slate gray, then fill the open mouth with rose pink and the mouth corners with deep maroon.
- 5Color the round brooch on the collar with golden yellow so it stands out.
- 6Optional: Add a little darker shading on the sides of the cape and suit with a deeper shade of the same color for a bit of depth.
