Squirrel Holding a Little Apple Among Blossoms

Coloring guide
Perched on a tree branch, this smiling squirrel has big sparkling eyes and holds a small apple, topped with a leaf, in both front paws. Its tail is large and fluffy and curls up behind it, and the ears have little tufts at the tips. Apple blossoms with round buds and plenty of pointed leaves frame everything. Flowers run along the branch at the bottom, more hang in the upper right corner, and another leafy twig reaches in from the upper left. That fluffy tail leaves lots of space for texture, and the blossoms have large petals that are easy to fill. A warm reddish-brown suits the squirrel, and a bright red or green apple will stand out in its paws. Soft pink petals would look lovely. No sign-up is needed to print it. Add this to your Apple coloring page collection, alongside Girl Power and Hot Dog.

A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Start with the big squirrel body by coloring the tail, head, body sides and haunches in rust orange, leaving the white fur highlights along the back and tail tip untouched.
- 2Fill the squirrel's belly and the muzzle area with cream, and color the inner parts of both ears in rose pink.
- 3Color the branch in warm brown, then fill all the leaves with leaf green.
- 4Add the red apple in apple red, and color the squirrel's paws holding it in rust orange.
- 5Color the flower buds in baby pink and blush, leaving all the blossom petals white.
- 6Optional: Add a little darker orange or brown in the shaded parts of the tail and body to make the squirrel look fluffier.
