Kawaii Unicorn Cake with Starry Mane and Clouds

The star here is a round, single-layer cake dressed as a unicorn, with a sweet kawaii face: big sparkly eyes with lashes, a tiny smile and round blushing cheeks. A tall spiral horn rises from the top between two pointed ears, and a wavy frosting mane curls down one side, studded with little stars. More stars and dots sprinkle the cake's sides. It sits on a scalloped plate edged with round frosting dollops and a few small hearts, and three fluffy outlined clouds float behind. The horn, mane swirls and clouds are roomy enough for small hands, and the stars and dots keep older kids busy. Soft yellow for the horn and pastel pink, purple and blue stripes for the mane would work well. Print a few copies, since it's free.
