Daffodil With Long Leaves and Smiling Ladybug

Daffodil With Long Leaves and Smiling Ladybug coloring sheet

Coloring guide

A single daffodil bends gently on a curved stem, with six pointed petals fanned out around a ruffled center trumpet. Tall, slender leaves sweep up and out from the base, and a few have small dashes and dots along them for texture. Down in the lower right, a cheerful ladybug with a round smiling face and two curly antennae rests on a leaf. One wing is lifted slightly to show black spots on its back. The lines are clean and the shapes are big, so little hands can stay inside them easily. Try yellow petals with an orange trumpet for a classic spring daffodil, then talk about why ladybugs are red with black spots. Kids can also count the spots on the wings as they color. This free printable works well for a spring lesson or a quiet afternoon activity.
