A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Start with the big fire truck body, roof, and front in bright red, leaving the windows and wheels for later.
- 2Color the fire station walls and roof pale yellow, the bell tower roof pale yellow, and the bell golden yellow; fill the garage windows and small door window with sky blue and make the station door deep red.
- 3Paint the dog's helmet bright red and its center emblem golden yellow, then color the dog's collar and tag area deep red and the roof light tangerine orange.
- 4Add sky blue to the clouds and windshields, leaf green to the bushes, and pale green to the grass strip; color the ladder rails golden yellow and the rungs medium gray.
- 5Finish the wheels in charcoal with light gray hubs, and color the front bumper, grille, and side mirrors light gray, with headlights in golden yellow. Leave the dog's fur, eyes, and spots white.
- 6Optional: add a little darker shading under the truck and along the wheel arches to make the colors pop.
