Dancing Bruni Salamander with a Big Grin, Frozen 2
Coloring guide
Wide eyes, a huge open-mouthed grin and one leg kicked out to the side give this little salamander a playful, dancing feel. He looks like Bruni, the fire salamander from Frozen 2. His tail swoops up behind him, and you'll notice small spikes on his head and a diamond-shaped marking on his back. He stands on a patch of ground with a few pebbles, and one leaf lies near the bottom right. The big shapes and bold, clean lines are friendly for younger kids, and older children can add shading on the belly and tail. Bright orange for the body with a deep red diamond on the back would look great. Download the free PDF and add it to your pile. A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Fill the big body, both arms, and both legs with leaf green, leaving the gap between the legs white.
- 2Color the tail fin and the right arm tip with lime green so they stand out a little from the body.
- 3Paint the head, chest, and underside of the belly pale yellow, and add a golden yellow patch on the left thigh.
- 4Color the open mouth cherry red, with the tongue in bubblegum pink and the shadow under the belly left white.
- 5Add tangerine orange to the forehead spike and the back stripe.
- 6Finish the eyes with sky blue and slate blue irises, medium gray eyelids, and the two pebbles on the ground in medium gray, keeping the eye whites bright. Optional: Add a little darker green along the edges of the body for depth.
