Dancing Chick Hatching from a Cracked Easter Egg

Coloring guide
A fluffy little chick dances between two halves of a cracked egg, with one wing raised and the other stretched out low. Its head is tipped to the side, its eyes are big with long lashes, and its beak is open in a happy smile. A few tufts of feathers stick up on top of its head. Small triangle shards of eggshell are scattered around it, and the words "Happy Easter!" sit in outlined bubble letters at the top left. Both shell halves are covered in patterns. The left one has wavy lines and triangles, and the right one has zigzag sections and a set of rounded rings near the bottom. This page works well for practicing different coloring techniques. Try using one color family for each shell pattern, then give the chick soft yellow shading with crayons. You can also color the letters in last. It is a good fit for a free printable Easter card or classroom craft.
