Dancing Girl and Puppy in a Lego Friends Leash Tangle
Coloring guide
Balanced on one foot, this long-haired girl has her other leg caught up in a looping dog leash, and she's still waving cheerfully with one hand. Her outfit includes a headband with headphones resting on top, a button-up jacket with rolled sleeves, a scalloped stitched skirt, leggings, a wristband and flat shoes. A small music player is clipped at her waist, and the earphone cords run up to her ears. Down by her feet, a fluffy puppy with floppy ears and a little bow on its collar stands on its hind legs, gazing up at her. Nothing sits behind them, so young artists can stay focused on the details. It's a nice pick for kids who love fashion and pets, and it's free to print. Turquoise would look great on the jacket, and a warm chestnut brown makes the wavy hair pop. Kids who like Lego Friends coloring pages usually enjoy CoComelon and Miraculous Ladybug too.
A gentle color plan to get started — mix in your own anytime.
- peach skin
- golden tan
- chestnut brown
- sky blue
- magenta pink
- light pink
- pale blue
- rose pink
A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Start with the girl's skin areas: fill her face, neck, arms, hand and legs with a soft peach skin color, leaving the eye whites and the small highlights on her face white.
- 2Color the puppy's fur with a golden tan, including its head, ears, body and paws, and keep the tiny highlight spots on the puppy's back leg white.
- 3Fill the long hair with chestnut brown, working from the top of the head down the curls, then add the pink headband in light pink.
- 4Color the jacket in sky blue, the top under it in magenta pink, and the skirt in magenta pink with rose pink on the bracelet and the wristband area.
- 5Use pale blue on the cuffs of her jacket sleeves and the shoes in magenta pink, leaving the leash, its loops and the earphone wires white.
- 6Optional: Add a little darker brown in the hair folds and a touch of darker blue in the jacket creases for depth.
