Dentist Checking Teeth, Mouth Anatomy Coloring Page
Coloring guide
A smiling dentist wearing a face mask, lab coat and gloves leans over a young boy, holding a small mouth mirror up to his open mouth. The boy sits back in the dental chair with a bib clipped under his chin, looking up with wide eyes. On the tray between them are a model of teeth and jaw, a toothbrush and a second dental mirror. On the wall behind them hang a happy tooth poster, a framed tooth picture and a toothbrush picture. You'll also find a big overhead exam light, a sink with a soap dispenser, a potted plant, a window and a cup of toothbrushes. It's a gentle way to talk about checkups and brushing, and the free printable works at home or in class. A light blue coat for the dentist and bright colors for the toothbrush handles look cheerful. - 1Start with the big background areas: color the wall and window tree leaves in mint green and leaf green, and the cabinets in sky blue and steel blue, leaving the sink, plant pot and soap bottle white.
- 2Fill the dentist's skin with light peach, then color her hair in chestnut brown and her face mask in pale blue, keeping the lab coat white.
- 3Color the dental chair in royal blue and deep blue, and the boy's shirt and apron in leaf green and pale blue, leaving the boy's teeth white.
- 4Add the denture models in pink and coral red, the tray in pale blue and light gray, and the toothbrush and tools in light gray.
- 5Finish with the lamp in pale yellow and golden yellow, the wall poster in golden yellow, and the boy's hair in caramel brown.
- 6Optional: Add a little darker shade under the chair and along the tray edges to make the drawing look more three-dimensional.
