Diving Ben 10 Alien With Gem-Filled Body
Coloring guide
This strange alien creature looks like it is diving or leaping right at you. Its big, flat, angular head sweeps back into two pointed fins, and its round body has a large oval opening packed with faceted, gem-like shapes. A small dial-like emblem sits on the chest, and a branch-like spike sticks out on the right. One thick, rocky arm reaches toward the bottom of the page, while the other ends in long, curved claws. There's no background, so all the attention goes to the creature. Deep teal or stone gray could work for the head and limbs, with a glowing orange or lime for the crystal shapes in the middle. A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Start with the big head shell, the top horns, the tall right spike and the left head tip: fill them with wood brown.
- 2Fill the main body, arms, legs, hands, feet and claws with lime green, leaving the white parts of the claws and toes untouched.
- 3Color the neck band, the lower arm shadows and the darker parts of the arms with dark brown, and the left body shadow with dark olive.
- 4Add leaf green to the right body side, top ridge, small spikes and the eye rim areas, then use deep green for the inner eye rim.
- 5Fill the gem with pale yellow green, leaving the small white facets inside the gem white, and keep the large eye white empty.
- 6Optional: Add a little darker shading along the edges of the brown head and green body to make the alien look more rounded.
