Donut Planet in Space with a Little Rocket
Coloring guide
A giant frosted donut drifts through space like a planet, with wavy dripping icing, scattered sprinkles and a big round hole in the middle. A thin ring circles the whole thing, much like Saturn's rings, and a few small craters dot the bottom half. In the upper right, a smiling little rocket with a round porthole face zooms by and leaves a flame trail. A small ringed planet sits on the left, and stars and tiny dots fill the sky. The wide open spaces on the icing are easy for younger kids, and the sprinkles and craters give older kids detail to work on. Pink or chocolate brown icing, bright rainbow sprinkles and a golden-yellow ring will help the donut planet stand out against a dark blue night sky. Grab the free PDF and print it at home, and maybe a few spare copies too. This fits right in with our Donut coloring pages — see also Girl Power and Cute.

A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Start with the donut frosting on the top of the planet and fill it with bubblegum pink, leaving the small white sprinkles uncolored.
- 2Color the big lower part of the donut planet with golden yellow, then fill the donut hole's center with sky blue.
- 3Use orange for the rim around the donut hole, and add sky blue to the lower right part of the planet.
- 4Fill the rocket's nose cone with royal blue and its tip and both fins with coral red, keeping the round porthole face white.
- 5Color the planet's ring with soft purple, the small planet with mint green, and the flames and stars with lemon yellow and orange.
- 6Optional: Add a little darker shade of the same color near the edges of the donut and the rocket to make it look rounder.
