Dora Shows Boots a Monkey Picture Box

Dora stands on a grassy path holding a square box with a clear front. Inside the box is a smiling monkey face surrounded by a wavy, rope-like border. Boots the monkey faces her on the left, wearing big boots and reaching out with both open hands. His tail curls up behind him. Dora has her bob haircut, a backpack on her shoulders, a short-sleeved shirt, shorts, a beaded bracelet, and ruffled socks with sneakers. Behind them are a leafy bush, a row of flowers at the top, and a few big leaves in the bottom corners. Because the page is filed under Happy Birthday, it works well as a quick activity at a party table. Try coloring the box in bright wrapping-paper patterns, then have kids pick a different color for each flower and talk about which one they would give as a gift.
