Dora the Explorer Waves Hello Next to Strawberry Shortcake

Dora is smiling and waving one hand up high while she stands beside Strawberry Shortcake, who is sitting in the grass with a big armful of flowers. Dora has her usual bob haircut with bangs, plus a short-sleeved shirt, shorts, a bracelet, ruffled socks and sneakers, and you can see her backpack straps over her shoulders. Strawberry Shortcake's floppy oversized hat is covered in little strawberries and topped with a large striped bow with a strawberry right in the middle. Her eyes are closed in a happy smile, and you'll spot freckles and some curly hair poking out. Don't skip the sandals or the small butterfly on her pants, which are fun to fill in. A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Start with the large skin areas: fill Dora's face, arms and hands and Shortcake's face and arms with light peach, keeping the eye whites white.
- 2Color Dora's hair chestnut brown and her shirt bubblegum pink, leaving the small highlights white.
- 3Fill Dora's shorts with tangerine orange and her socks with golden yellow, then color her sneakers and their laces white.
- 4Color Shortcake's big hat golden yellow, add the bubblegum pink hat band, and leave the little white strawberry dots on the hat white. Add the bright red strawberry and the pale pink ribbon.
- 5Fill Shortcake's hair with tangerine orange, her dress with bubblegum pink, her pants with sky blue, and Dora's backpack with lavender purple. Leave the flower bouquet white with soft pink centers.
- 6Optional: Add a little shading with a darker shade of each color along the edges to make the hair and clothes look rounder.
