Doraemon Snorkeling With a Little Fish and Seaweed

Doraemon floats underwater in a diving mask with a snorkel tube attached, blowing three bubbles that rise toward the top of the page. One arm is raised and the other reaches down, and the round feet kick behind him. His collar, little bell, belly pocket and whiskers are all drawn in clear outlines. A small fish with a round eye swims in the upper left, and a tall, wavy clump of seaweed grows from a rocky patch on the lower right. The shapes are big and simple, so this works well for younger kids using crayons or chunky markers. Try coloring the water in layers of blue and green around the characters, then use a bright orange for the fish so it stands out. It is also a nice starting point for talking about what lives in the ocean. Free to print as many copies as you need.
