Dragon Ball Z Goku and Little Gohan Side by Side
Coloring guide
Grown-up Goku stands tall with his hands on his hips and a big open-mouthed grin, and little Gohan smiles cheerfully right next to him. Goku has his famous spiky hair, a martial arts gi tied with a long sash, wrapped boots and wrist bands. Gohan wears a round, wide-brimmed hat topped with a star-covered Dragon Ball, a Chinese-style outfit with a small circle emblem on the chest, and a long curly monkey tail swooping out behind him. His hands are held together in front. The background is plain white, which leaves lots of room for color. Bright orange for Goku's gi and blue for the sash and wristbands work well, and Gohan's hat could get an orange Dragon Ball with red stars. It's a free PDF, so print a few extra copies to keep around. This page is part of our Dragon Ball Z coloring pages collection — check out Gravity Falls and The Flintstones too.
A gentle color plan to get started — mix in your own anytime.
- tangerine orange
- cherry red
- jet black
- royal blue
- peach skin
- golden yellow
- chestnut brown
A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Start with the big orange areas: fill Goku's gi top, sleeves, and baggy pants with tangerine orange, leaving the belt and collar for later.
- 2Color Goku's skin areas like his face, neck, arms, and hands with peach skin, keeping the small highlight on his forehead white.
- 3Fill Goku's boots, belt, wristband, and undershirt collar with royal blue, then add the blue belt tail hanging at his hip.
- 4Color Gohan's red hat, robe, and sleeves with cherry red, and fill his hat pompom, arm sleeves, and cuffs with golden yellow.
- 5Use chestnut brown for Gohan's curly monkey tail and jet black for Goku's spiky hair and Gohan's little shoes.
- 6Optional: Add a little darker shading on the folds of the pants and the inside of the robe to give the drawing more depth.
