A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.

1. 1Color the sky and clouds with pale blue, leaving the cloud outlines and the fluffy cloud tops white.
2. 2Fill the mountains and the lake with sky blue, then color the pine trees at the bottom with forest green.
3. 3Paint both wings and the wing bones' membranes with tangerine orange, keeping the thin wing bone lines white, and color the tail tip coral.
4. 4Color the dragon's body, head, arms and legs brick red, keeping the white scale patches and the eye whites white, then fill the belly and chest with butter yellow.
5. 5Fill the big rock peak with light gray and medium gray for shading, and color the small bushes on the rock with leaf green.
6. 6Optional: add darker strokes of medium gray along the rock cracks and a little extra forest green in the tree shadows for depth.
