Tiptoeing Easter Bunny in the Tulip Garden

Tiptoeing through a spring garden, a smiling bunny hugs a polka-dot Easter egg to its chest and peeks out from beside a cluster of tulips. Two more decorated eggs are tucked into the grass, one with wavy stripes at the bottom and another with spots on the left, and little flowers are scattered across the ground. A picket fence and rounded, fluffy bushes sit behind the bunny. Big floppy ears, whiskers and a fluffy tail give young colorers lots of fun detail, and the medium-sized spaces work well with crayons or markers. Soft lavender or pink would suit the inner ears, red and yellow can go on the tulips, and each egg can get its own color pattern. This free printable PDF is ready for classroom time or a rainy day. A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Color the bunny's head, body, tail and raised arm in tan brown, and fill the outer ears in the same tan brown.
- 2Paint the inner ears and the nose baby pink, leaving the eye shines, the cheek fur and the belly ivory.
- 3Fill the tulips: the top and front tulips in bright red, the tall middle one in golden yellow, and the side tulip in orchid purple.
- 4Color the big tulip leaves, grass blades and bushes in grass green and light green, then add the blue egg with ivory dots, the orange egg, the pink egg and the lavender egg.
- 5Shade the fence rails with light gray and leave the fence pickets and flower centers white.
- 6Optional: add a few darker forest green strokes on the tulip stems and leaves to make the garden feel deeper.
