On two feet, a cheerful bunny stands upright and hugs a big woven basket to its chest, and that basket is the heart of this Easter page. The bunny has tall ears with inner outlines, big sparkling eyes, whiskers and an open smile, with a fluffy round tail peeking out behind. Inside the basket you'll find three decorated eggs with zigzag stripes, polka dots and little flowers, plus tulips and blossoms tucked around the edges. A large bow sits on the basket handle. Thick, clear outlines are friendly for preschoolers and early elementary kids, and the patterned eggs give older children small spaces for detail. A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Start by coloring the bunny's head, body, ears and paws with light brown, leaving the inner ears for later.
- 2Color the basket and its weaving rows with warm amber, and fill the bow and the nose with bubblegum pink.
- 3Paint the inner ears soft pink, the bunny's tail and the handle area cream, and leave the teeth and the white flowers white.
- 4Fill the eggs: sky blue and pale blue for the striped eggs, golden yellow and lavender purple for the patterned ones, and bright red and golden yellow for the tulips.
- 5Add the green leaves with leaf green and the flower centers with tangerine orange, then finish with the flower details.
- 6Optional: Add a little darker shading inside the basket weave to make it look woven.
