Easter Pals: Bunny, Chick and Decorated Eggs

A cartoon bunny hugs a big decorated egg on the left, with one long ear standing straight up and the other flopping down beside its face. Only its small paws, round arms, and flat feet poke out around the egg. Next to it, a round baby chick with a little tuft of hair sits inside a cracked eggshell, with jagged edges around its middle and small wing shapes at its sides. Both eggs have the same kinds of patterns: rows of dots, zigzag bands, and plain stripes. This is a nice page for practicing pattern coloring. Try giving each band on the eggs its own color and repeating a simple sequence like red, yellow, blue, so kids can see how patterns work. Thick outlines make it easy for small hands to stay inside the lines, and it prints well for a classroom table or an Easter morning activity.
