Family Day Picking Apples at the Orchard

A smiling dad in a plaid shirt lifts a little boy high into the branches to reach an apple. Nearby, a woman with a ponytail picks fruit from a tree, and a young girl holds a woven basket that's already full of apples. Behind the family you'll see rows of small apple trees, a wooden fence, a red barn and rolling hills under a puffy cloud. Two wooden barrels overflowing with apples sit at the lower right, and flowers and grass tufts cover the ground. Big leaves, round apples, and the plaid and basket textures give kids lots to work on. Red and yellow apples with green leaves look good, and a classic red barn makes the farm scene stand out. Pick up the free printable PDF for a screen-free activity at home.
